"As the most determined and effective player in his entire career, A. Border was the toughest competitor, one of the finest captains and all-rounders."                                           (Richard Hobson)                                                                                                                                                               'Journalist - The Times'

Friends, you are very fortunate today. We are visiting Australia's most challenging captain, all-arounder and 1987 World Cup champion (Allan Border).

Nationality:-

                       Australian.

  • A talented batsman, one of Australia's most successful captains, and a capable all-rounder, Allan Robert Border is one of his kind.
  • He is a tough player with something special inside him. Whenever the Australian team was in trouble, he stepped into the crease and saved the day. (Brad Haddin)

  • The Australian cricket team faced a crisis when he started playing. Under his admirable captaincy, England won the 1987 World Cup and regained the Ashes after two years as he enjoyed the situation.

  • Despite that astounding fact, in 1993, team Australia defeated the mighty West Indies for the first time in history.
